Are You Afraid?

Jack, John and the Wise Man had just been from a wedding party in the village down the mountain. It was close to midnight. They were walking through the forest back to their compound up the mountain. The Wise Man walked in front. Jack and John followed him.

Jack : "Teacher, aren't you afraid?"
Wise Man : "Of what?"

John ; "It's midnight, teacher. All night creatures must be awake and looking for food by now."
Wise Man : "So?"

John : "So we have to be careful."
Jack : "John is right, teacher. We have to be careful."

Wise Man : "That we should always be."
