Why So?

I have a friend who lots of people would find very annoying. He talks too much. He always wants to know other people’s business. He always has the answer to everything and the answer is of course his very own version. He likes to talk to me because I never take offense of him. Even though what he says is mostly not important, but some can be pretty interesting.

Friend : “Do you know why God gives every human being two ears and two eyes but only one mouth?”
Me : “No, I don’t. And I guess you know why?”

Friend : “God wants us to listen more and observe more and talk less. We learn new things by listening and observing, not talking. That’s why.”
Me : “You have a point there.”
