Jack : “Teacher, you have a visitor from the village down the mountain.”
Wise Man : “Did he say the purpose of his visit?”
Jack : “He wants to ask your advice about his future.”
Wise Man : “You can let him in.”
Jack led an old man in and asked him to take the seat in front of the Wise Man.
Wise Man smiled : “How can I help you, sir?”
Visitor : “O Wise Man, please take a look at my face and palms. I want to know how long I will live so I can plan my future with certainty.”
The Wise Man took turns looking at his face and palms.
Wise Man looked solemn : “I can tell you with certainty, sir. Your future is uncertain.”
