An Old Fool

Jack and the Wise Man were on their way back from the market. An old man approached from the opposite direction. He was Boogie, a less famous teacher on Mountain Wisdom. He stared at the Wise Man.

Boogie : “You are a fraud. You are an old fool. You talk rubbish. You should stop teaching nonsense to young students. You should leave and go to hell.”
Jack was shocked. The Wise Man just smiled and kept walking.

Jack : “Teacher, that man was very rude to you. Why did you smile at him?”
Wise Man smiled : “I am not him. That’s why.”
